Very pleased to share our experience with Dr. Prashant Nyati, who helped with the debulking surgery for my wife having Ovarian Cancer (15" Cyst), detected at last moment (30th June 2022). We were referred by another Doctor to Prashant Nyati for a specialist advice, and what a great human being we discovered.
Apart from being a extremely passionate and competent Doctor, his humbleness and ability to calm down a patient is remarkable. Cancer itself is a scary word for many, and the way he handles his patients is worth appreciating. After going through the diagnostics report, he spent good time in explaining and drawing in detail on the exact steps of surgery and till what extent the surgery would be performed based on findings in the Operation Theatre. The way he explained the process and steps, it appeared so simple for him, a typical characteristics of a Master in subject. He took all the time to make the patient comfortable in saying that it's a regular process for him and hence need not worry.
He also explained the process of Chemo to be followed after surgery and how the entire recovery would happen.
What surprised us was his professionalism, passion for the subject and working for the cause and not driven by monetary benefits, which is rare in Mumbai and I can confidently say I have never seen a doctor so focused for a cause than money. In that sense he is a minority in his profession. Wish all Doctors had this human touch and hunger for studying the subject. I think its his personality which makes all difference.
The surgery was successfully completed at H.N. Reliance Hospital on 12th July 2022 with 11 days on hospital stay, under his team and the 6 Chemo cycles were also done under same premises from Aug to December using Chemo Port approach (recommended by Doctor).
Before meeting Dr. Nyati, we had met a Senior lady doctor in a reputed hospital and she recommended Laparoscopy for my wife, which was medically criminal approach for a 15" Cyst removal and was doomed for failure. A simple online search indicated this as wrong approach and was shocked to learn a lady Gynec with 30 years of experience recommended this approach. God saved us from that Doctor and connected us with Dr. Prashant Nyati who is a Specialized Onco Gynec. Later online search made it very clear that such surgery MUST be done only by a Onco Gynec and not ANY Gynec.
Our post recovery treatment continues under guidance of Dr. Prashant Nyati and we highly recommend him for any Onco Gynec and related surgeries. Each body response can be different, but being treated in the hands of a competent, passionate doctor is of paramount importance.
A point worth noting is that apart from surgeries, Dr. Prashant Nyati also genuinely invests time in creating awareness about Ovarian Cancer, without any expectations, which is absolutely rare. He is a true professional dedicated to the cause of the ovarian cancer treatment.

Before she went under the knife we were scared that her condition had worsened and we were worried and saddened of losing her. Her cancer from the colon had spread to other parts and she had also developed tumors. Dr. Nyati on seeing the reports and after intense investigation seemed confident on operating her. The operation was a major one that was on for almost 12 hrs. Sitting outside the operation theater, swirls of sadness and all the good memories with my mother were flashing in front of me. My mother was diagnosed endometrial carcinoma around 1st week of January this year. We consulted Oncologist Dr. Vashishth Maniar and he and Dr. Satish Ajmera highly recommended Dr. Prashant Nyati.
The process of shortlisting a surgeon delayed as me and my family were diagnosed with Covid. Both the surgeons suggested the same procedure of vertical open cut and frozen section of uterus and ovary. And remove all of it if positive.
Meeting with Dr. Nyati gave a great comfort zone to my mother as she has high anxiety issues. And hence we decided to go with him.
My mother being an ILD (Interstitial Lung Disease) patient, overweight, high BP, a lot of pre-investigation were carried out to rule out all the risk factors. Dr. Nyati paid attention to each and every test carried out during the pre-investigation stage in detail.
On 10th February my mother was operated at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. It took around 6 hours+ as the frozen section showed positive. Dr. Nyati did not leave the hospital till she was shifted to ICU and excubated.
Post when my mother was operated Dr. Nyati ensured every day he checked on her even if it was weekend off by continuously instructing the nurse staff interms her medication, diet and exercise routine. Infact day 2 onwards she was made to walk with 3 nurses helping her out. He continuously connected with the general physician and the pulmonogist whether she was doing good in her BP and if her lungs were functioning properly. Due to visiting hours being strict in the ICU Dr. Nyati called me every day briefing me on her progress.
Post her surgery the aftercare was very well monitored by Dr. Nyati after examining her every alternate day and giving her right kind of medication for the stitches to heal. Never ever seen this kind of a meticulous involvement of any doctor.
I once again thank you Doctor for all the efforts taken by you in treating my mother.
Dr. Prashant Nyati is just like a blessing for us. He is so soft spoken and gives plenty of time to listen to his patient and explains the process or next steps of the case in a detailed and simple language. He guides like a family member. My mother always feels much better and smiles after every visit of Dr. Prashant. My mother biopsy report suggested a tumor and bulky uterus. We visited 3 doctors before deciding whom we will do the surgery. All three doctors were good and suggested same procedure of vertical cut open surgery and frozen section of ovary tumor and uterus, if positive then remove other connected body parts. Dr. Prashant gave us almost 1 hour in his first consultation and explained us everything so nicely that we were also able to understand this complicated disease. He also explained us risk factors in this surgery. My mother was so satisfied and so we decided to go for surgery with Dr. Prashant at Jaslok Hospital. This surgery took 6.5 hours as frozen section came positive, so Dr. Prashant had to remove other parts like lymph nodes, omentum, appendix, fallopian tube, etc. Uterus was stuck to rectum, so the actual surgery was quite complicated. I highly recommend Dr. Prashant and his team for any kind of gynaecological surgery. He is highly skilled professional and more important very good human to take care of his patient. Dr. Kushboo also explained everything in a detailed way and was never in a hurry.

At the onset, let me begin by saying a big THANK YOU on behalf of the entire Savla family for treating, curing and healing my mother for her uterus cancer completely.
Right from the very first day we met (when we had never known you), you gave us complete comfort and full guidance about my mother's health condition and remedy options. You spent 90 minutes in the first consultation which is rarity to see of any good surgeons in today's times in a city like Mumbai. Your detailed counselling and examination convinced my then ailing and nervous mother to such a great extent that she refused to visit any other doctor for even a second opinion after that. From being scared of the disease, she gained super courage to face and fight it. And it was all due to your continuous motivation and assurance that she will be cured completely.

First thing that Dr. Nyati did was making me and my entire family comfortable as everything was unpredictable and saddening for us. He explained each one of us the complete issue and possibilities with utmost patience and a smile on his face which encouraged us to stay positive. He performed my 6 hrs long laporotomy on July 2017 and fortunately it was a benign tumor but my right ovary had to be removed.

My mother aged 65 was diagnosed ovarian cancer stage III-C. We consulted Dr. S H Advani for her treatment who advised us to undergo three round of chemotherapy and thereafter, assessment for surgery will be done.

Dr. Nyati explained the images of the CT scan report in details, extent of disease and his plan of action for the surgery using electronic media. Then I felt the emergency for surgery. He helped us to make arrangements also at the earliest.

I live in the US (Miami) whereas my mother lives in UAE (Dubai). Recently my mother needed immediate medical attention and I was looking desperately for a good reputable doctor.
I was lucky to be referred to Dr. Prashant Nyati through a family friend as he's a well-known Gynecologist/Oncologist practicing at Jaslok Hospital - Mumbai. As I had to work with limited time (traveling to Dubai and then to India) and working within a budget, the co-ordination of my mother's care was paramount. I wanted the process to be fast-tracked as well while providing optimum care and was wondering how this all could be achieved.
My first call [from the US to Dr. Nyati (India)] was a great sigh of relief as Dr. Nyati patiently listened, showed empathy and understood my concerns immediately. He further more made himself available for communications over different platforms (phone, email, whatsapp etc.) as I was in a different time zone.

I am writing this on behalf of my mother a very simple person by nature and deeds. When she started complaining about stomach pain regularly, we took her to many doctors and switched options, but nothing really happened. One day out of extreme pain we admitted her to a hospital and her scan detected she had ascitic fluid and adenocarcinoma cells in her stomach. She was diagnosed with Cancer. What can you say to someone who saved my mom's life, as "thank you" just is not enough...!!!
Hi, I am Shalaka, age 53 diagnosed with cancer in the month of September. I underwent two chemotherapies in Pune. He also motivated me and prepared me for the operation with full positivity. He operated on me for a total of 6 hours with patience and perseverance that is hard to find these days. He operated very skillfully without damaging any of the organs which was a miracle in itself. Also after the operation he would make time from his busy schedule to visit me daily in the hospital and take care of all the post operative measures. With his help I could recovery from this major surgery. Thanks to Dr. Nyati, I am on my road to recovery and for a new lease on life.

Dr. Prashant Nayti is an excellent doctor. We met him in July 2013 for my mom's treatment. He is treating my mom very well. He did very good counselling regarding the disease and treatment to patient and we family members. We all are very happy with his treatment. He has got very positive approach and lots of passion towards his patients. He is very patient centric doctor and all the time thinks about his patients and their wellness. All the time available for patient need.
